7th International Conference on Predictive Modelling of Food Quality and Safety (ICPMF7)
12 September 2011 - 15 September 2011
This conference will bring together leading academics, research scientists and food professionals who are currently developing and using simulation and optimisation tools to enhance the quality and safety of food. This event also aims at attracting various stakeholders throughout the food chain, including policy makers and international authorities. It will highlight the diversities, commonalities and future challenges that we face as predictive modellers in food.
All of the topics regarding predictive modelling will be showcased at the Conference, including, but not limited to: predictive microbiology, individual based modelling, stochastic modelling and systems biology. The conference will include plenary sessions by high profile international speakers, opportunities to present original research and a comprehensive social program. Overall, this conference will promote interaction between international experts in food and (micro) biological sciences, engineering, computer science and mathematics.
On the 16th September 2011, a collaborative EU Framework Project Seminar will be held. This event will bring together speakers from four EU projects (Baseline, Biotracer, Prosafebeef, Q pork chains, Symbiosis) to present their activities and recent research outputs in the area of predictive modelling and microbial risk assessment.
